We are glad to tell you the story of how Associated Christ Gospel Church, Inc., came into being.

 

Revd Dr Stephen Olatunji Aladegbami and his bosom wife (Mummy), Revd Dr Elizabeth Folake Aladegbami were from 1989 members of All Faith Chapel, Inc., a Pentecostal Fellowship Centre in Lagos Nigeria. Dr Stephen was the Associate Pastor of this wonderful Church of the Living God while Elizabeth was one of the officials of Good Women Band.

 

As the LORD would always have His Way, when man says that there is no other Church that is as good as the one he is, on the 3rd day of March 1996, Dr Stephen heard a voice immediately they got to their uncompleted building, which is their current residence, while they were on their way to Church, that they should stop and commence their fellowship inside that building.

 

Dr Stephen asked the Holy Spirit, "How many of us?" and the voice came back again to say, "Where two or three are gathered in my Name." He announced the statement to Elizabeth and the response was, "Hallelujah." They started their service exactly 8.00 a.m. on that glorious day and before one month the LORD provided funds for them to complete the building. The service continued inside the building in the name of "Crucified Way Christian Centre."  As the LORD would have it, come 1998, Dr Stephen wrote a letter to our Grand Spiritual Mother beseeching her for book on Bride's Message and this received wonderful response from Revd Berniece R. Hicks. To God be the glory that not quite a month after letters of invitation came from the U.S.A. in favour of Dr Stephen to attend the July Convention, this being a miracle in the life of this Servant of God.

 

During the Convention, Dr Stephen decided to change the name of the Church to Associated Christ Gospel Church and this was incorporated in year 2000 to the glory of God. Up till this moment, Dr Stephen Aladegbami, his family, and all the members of Associated Christ Gospel Church, Inc., have been swimming inside the pool of the Blood Breath of God under the able Leadership of Revd Berniece Richard Hicks, and indefatigable Prophetess of our time. God loves her heart and blesses it forever in Jesus' Name, Amen.

 

This is a great grace from the Teh-home of the Name of the LORD above and Teh-home of His Name below and may His Holy, Righteous, and Powerful Name be praised forever and ever in Jesus' Name, Amen.
